BSP 6 has Linux 5.15 which is different from BSP7. For M4 development on Apalis iMX8, I suggest BSP5 though it shouldn’t be chosen for a new design due to its lifetime cycle. If your application doesn’t heavily rely on Linux 6.6 itself, it will be not difficult to migrate from BSP5. This is a device tree patch for BSP5 supporting M4.
