Colibri VF61 V1.2B flashing problem

Our company received new Colibri VF61 boards V1.2B. Our previous Colibri boards were V1.2A.

We use WinCE 6 image with 1.4 version and flash image and bootloader using update.exe utility. And now we have a problem with V1.2B boards - after flashing image and bootloader V1.4 the board is bricked:

Splash screen is not saved in flash.

Is there some problem with compatibility of new boards and image v1.4?

Dear @maksimus47

I’m afraid your guess was correct. in the end of 2017 we had to replace the NAND flash memory on the Colibri VF61 modules, which was the reason for the version update from V1.2A to V1.2B.

The new flash memory cannot be accessed properly by and WinCe firmware older than V1.5.

For more details, please refer to the revision history for the Colibri VF61 module and the related PCN Colibri VF61 256MB IT V1.2A 2017-12-15.
