Colibri iMX8X: Using IEEE 802.11n

Hi team,

A customer is looking to connect to a IEEE 802.11n WiFi AP. When he tries to connect from our module it only connects up to IEEE 802.11g.

What settings do they need to change? They already changed in hostadp.conf,

ieee80211n=1
hw_mode=g
channel=5

Hey @alvaro.tx!

How did they test this? Do they have any debug log? As far as I know, these changes in hostapd.conf should be enough to enable 802.11n.

Hi team, it seems that the customer after removing and adding again the connection, it worked. Since it was saved as 11g back then, it didn’t reconnect to 11n.
