Thank you for reaching out with your issue regarding the Colibri iMX8X and the DSI to HDMI adapter not working with a 1024x768 resolution display. It’s good to hear that displays with a resolution of 1980x1080 work fine, which suggests that the hardware setup and the adapter are fundamentally operational.

Additionally please share complete OS detail and version you are using with baseboard details along with display model/part number you are testing both working and non working.

You can also manually start weston for additional logs and share with us along with dmesg output. With provided information it seems like display timing in not correct which is confirmed by fbset output.

Greetings @ldvp, In general HDMI resolution and display timings are gathered from the EDID information given by that specific display. Meaning that the resolutions available are given by the display itself. The way you’re trying to change the resolution via the weston.ini is a correct way to do things. We even document this here: Display Output, Resolution and Timings (Linux) | Toradex Developer Center But, I believe unless the mode is actually defined via the EDID then it probably won’t work…

Hi @tanchunhau , Since the display you are using do not support EDID information may be if you can try hard coded display timing. If the issue is due to timing it should solve the issue. Please check below link for reference how to add display timing.
