I am facing issue with driving 1024x768 display from Colibri IMX8X via DSI to HDMI adapter.
Display always shows blank screen.
however display with resolution 1980x1080 works fine with board.

Additionally please share complete OS detail and version you are using with baseboard details along with display model/part number you are testing both working and non working.
You can also manually start weston for additional logs and share with us along with dmesg output. With provided information it seems like display timing in not correct which is confirmed by fbset output.
Baseboard is a customized board, developed as per our product. Initially we were using Toradex 7Inch display on RGB interface, now we want to use a bigger display, hence shifting to HDMI based display with DSI to HDMI adapter board.
Working display is DELL SE2422H (normal computer monitor)
issue display is IEI make Model DM-F12A

From logs it is not evident if there is any issue related to EDID.
May I ask you to test with BSP 6.3.0, reference multimedia image and let us know if you still see same issue.
I have tested with latest BSP 5.7 Image and does not work with it.
Display works with BSP 6.6 Image only for few minutes, display starts blinking on & off after some time.
Okay, we quickly tested with BSP 6.3.0 using our Verdin DSI to HDMI and Waveshare 7 inch HDMI and this works fine.
Right now I don’t have Colibri DSI to HDMI with me, we will take some time to get and test with same.
In meanwhile if possible that you have any different make HDMI display with same resolution do test with same.
