We would like to use buildroot as build system, instead of yocto.
We can spend some time trying to set up a buildroot environment, or to tweak some existing setup. But this would make sense only if you plan to support it as well in future, so that we will jump to your supported version in future. If not we are probably forced to work with yocto.
Do you have any plan to support it in the near future?

I understand the simplicity and convenience centered around Buildroot. However, I’m sorry to inform you that we do not provide support for Buildroot at the moment and as of now, we do not have any concrete plans for the near future. As you have already noticed, we provide extensive support for Yocto and many of our customers rely on it already for their development.
