BSP Linux Images for Colibri iMX7 1GB eMMC

There are two provided BSP images for Colibri iMX7 here:

But by looking at their update.sh file, apparently neither support iMX7 1GB eMMC module and they are tailored for the NAND modules.

Is this correct? If that’s the case, how can I find a reference BSP image or customize current images suitable for iMX7 1GB eMMC?

The machine is called colibri-imx7-emmc and supports Toradex Easy Installer images only. Legacy images as you were looking at are not supported.

Can I replace a its u-boot, kernel,and rootfs with a customized version (built by yocto) as before?

The provided image has the version of 2.7b4. Is it compatible with the newest LinuxImage version 2.8?

Sure.

Not quite, while the former is morty based stable the later is rocko based first beta.
