To solve a package compatibility issue with Windows the extension was unpublished from VS Marketplace and published again. But this impacts both Linux and Windows users.
Previously it was possible to install the extension on the Windows side which did not work properly and caused confusion for Windows users. Now the package published is available only to linux-x64
platforms. (You can also note that we changed the logo and the main README.MD
)
Even though the extension are still listed on Windows side you can note that is not possible to install it:
We still support Windows through WSL 2, but the extension must be installed on the WSL 2 side: Get started using VS Code with WSL | Microsoft Learn
For both Windows and Linux users we still have the same identifier Toradex.apollox-vscode
on VS Marketplace, but itβs a new page. So for you to continue receiving our updates we recommend that the old version must be uninstalled and the new published one installed again.
Best Regards,
