BItbake build fails - unable to fetch linux-toradex-mainline

Using Apalis TK1 with the Ixora carrier board.
When building with bitbake core-image-base, it fails at ERROR: linux-toradex-mainline-5.4.77+gitAUTOINC+7aaf6c2823-r0 do_fetch: Fetcher failure for URL: 'git://git.toradex.com/linux-toradex.git;protocol=https;branch=toradex_5.4.y;name=machine'. Unable to fetch URL from any source.

MACHINE ?= “apalis-tk1” in config.
