i am wondering if it is possible to carry audio on pimi dsi signals (just like HDMI).
Specifically i am trying to use a mipi dsi to HDMI adaptor to transfer both video and audio signals to a display with speakers.
Also I am hoping to use iMX8 mini if that matters.
I don’t think so but certain DSI to HDMI converters might have a separate audio codec (e.g. off I2S) integrated.
it seems like the chip on toradex DSI to HDMI accepts i2s signals and i found notes elsewhere that it is possible?
Lots of things may be possible but I don’t think anybody tried this yet. Whether or not that Chinese driver can actually do it I have my doubts.
