Hi, I need to use a touchscreen monitor (480p) but the aster board current is limited to 500 mA, The monitor requires 1A at least (1.2 A optimally), is there any way I can increase the current allocated for the usb X4 ports ?

No, standard USB 2.0 port can handle only 500 mA. If you have a device which draws more current, then you can use an external powered USB hub(self-powered hub).
