Android Kinetics Image - adb support?

Dear all.

I loaded “Kinetics Android image” simply by using easy installer and then it worked successfully in Aplais iMX8QM board + Ixora carrier 1.1B. Can I see this board through “adb” interface from Linux ubuntu PC?

Serial number is not displayed at all. How can I use this device ? I hooked up this board through OTG USB port and JP2 jumper is open.

Best,
Todd.

For more information about how to get this demonstration image supported and customized, get in contact with Kynetics.

WIFI debugging seems to work okay. However unable to get USB debugging working.
The link says connect to device via micro USB-USB with JP2 open and nothing much.
Are we missing anything here?

To make a micro-USB (X9) work you need to remove the JP2 and double check if nothing is connected to the bottom part of X8. For any other questions related to the Android image get in contact with Kynetics .

Hi @alex.tx ,
We are not using the same device as above. We have a Colibri IMX8X soc on Colibri evaluation board.
So the pins are different.
I’ll have a chat with Kynetics regarding this.

That’s why we recommend not hijacking a thread but rather creating a new one. As for setting HW for debugging - yes, you can use either X30 (with JP2 removed) or X29.
