Would it be possible to add the iio/adc /ti-ads8688 module to the kernel. We are using the kirkstone branch of the TorizonCore.

Alright for that kernel driver/module the corresponding kernel config is CONFIG_TI_ADS8688. Is that correct? If that is all I’ll go ahead and pass this along to our team. I will try and notify you when something is available.
By the way in case it matters for what Toradex module are you working with?

Yes that kernel config is correct.
We are working with the Verdin IMX8M plus module.

This kernel config has been enabled in our builds as seen here: features/iio: enable ADS8688 ADC module · toradex/toradex-kernel-cache@94602d0 · GitHub
To have access to this you’ll need to use a recent nightly, built after this commit. That said this config should be available in our next releases and going forward.
