winCE 7.0 doesn't detect serial COM Ports for USB

Hello,

Many serial COM ports for usb are not detected by the Toradex Colibri VF61.
Knowing that it’s were working before.

any suggestions about this problem

Dear @rfrikha
Our default Windows CE does not include any drivers for USB-to-UART converters. I assume you had such drivers installed on your system where it was working.

I reinstalled the drivers for FT230XQ but nothing is changed. It still not working.
You think it’s a hardware problem in this case!??

It could be both a driver or hardware issue. To test the hardware:

  1. Connect the FTDI device with the same cable to a PC and
    test whether it is working properly
  2. Connect other USB devices (e.g. thumb drives) with the same speed as
    the FTDI (full speed / high speed)
    to the Colibri and test whether you can properly access them.

If both tests above are successful, your hardware is most probably ok.
