All of them seems to be available in release candidate.
Which is the reason for them?
Are they a new (optimized?) starting point for imx8m-plus architecture?
Will they be used into official TorizonOS in the future?
It’s part of a new release process that we’re trying to incorporate with our Debian containers. Specifically these are for integrating and testing future changes. As you can see the only tags for these are 4* as opposed to our currents containers which use a tag of 3*, which indicate they are for upcoming versions.
Are they a new (optimized?) starting point for imx8m-plus architecture?
They are somewhat stable but we don’t guarantee everything will work on these. As I said they’re for testing/integrating future potential changes so they’re more on the experimental side than our currently released stable containers.
Will they be used into official TorizonOS in the future?
Eventually as it’s part of this new release process I mentioned. But that will still be a while since we’re still on version 3 containers.
