As happened for the new release of TorizonCoreBuilder (see this topic) I confirm that VSCode on Ubuntu Virtual Machine is able to see the new releases and update them.
VSCode on WSL, on the other side, doesn’t see the new release available.
You must uninstall the old one, then install the extension again and in this way you will have the new release.
