The Qt cross compilation with the Aplais Evaluation Board is unsuccessful

Hello Sir/Madam,

I want to build the HMI using Qt for Apalis Evaluation Test Board V1.1A , SoM: Apalis iMX6 Quad 2GB. I am following the link as mentioned below:

  1. Getting Started with Qt
  2. Qt Creator to cross compile - Embedded Linux

The image was created successfully with
bitbake -k console-tdx-image

The SDK is also successfully created with
bitbake console-tdx-image -c populate_sdk

But followed the steps to “Add the Target Device”
In Qt Creator under Build & Run - Kits upon configuring as mentioned , contains an exclamatory mark in Red "

Error: The compiler GCC+±LXDE (arm-linux-generic-elf-32bit) cannot produce a code for the Qt Version "Qt 5.5.1(qt5)-LXDE(arm-linux-generic-elf-64bit

Request your assistance, good day ahead

Regards,
Amar V

Hi @amar

Could you provide the version of the software of your module?

The SDK is also successfully created with bitbake console-tdx-image -c populate_sdk

Which OpenEmbedded branch did you use to do the compilation?
Why are building an console image for QT application?

Best regards,
Jaski

Do you have an error log for this?
Could you give the details about the hardware and software of your build host?

Jaski

Regarding your error: the error log says the following:

configure: error: Cannot find giblib: Is giblib-config in the path?

Have you done a build which was successful?

ERROR: scrot-0.8-r0 do_configure: configure failed

Could you try the solutions presented here?

Thanks and best regards,
