SDCard Insertion make Linux crash

I’m working on:

  • iMX7D
  • linux-toradex_4.1.15
  • angstrom-lxde-image-V2.6.1

Linux is capable of running without any problem for hours… But when I insert an SDCard, the Linux is completely blocked (no more prompt and screen blocked!)

The last trace are:

[ 43.582946] mmc0: new high speed SDHC card at address b368
[ 43.590801] mmcblk0: mmc0:b368 USD 7.37 GiB
[ 43.599188] mmcblk0: p1

Issue is systematic

What file system are you using on the SD-card (Partition 1)?

If you have a module version V1.1B or later, can you reproduce the issue using V2.7?

The file system on the SD Card is fat32. After I reboot the board and stop the boot, I able to use it to update the system.
My module is iMX7D 512MB V1.1C. I update repository to the V2.7… compiling is sooooo long

So, with version 2.7, it seems to work. But version 2.7 seems to be only beta… safe to use?

Hm, I cannot reproduce that here.

Maybe it is related to card detect GPIO… What Carrier Board are you using?
