I have seen this problem as below in kernel debug

What exact software versions of things are you talking about?

This is not a bug and needs no fixing.
The i.MX 6S/DL lacks the VG 2D graphical unit. This is the message the kernel prints when it finds that out.
Note that OpenVG rendering on the S/DL will be rendered by the 3D units.
