Problem setting LCD resolution to 800x480

I have a setup using Colibri iMX6 where I can successfully run:

fw_setenv vidargs video=mxcfb0:dev=lcd,800x480M@60,if=RGB666 video=mxcfb1:off fbmem=8M

to change resolution permanently.

Now I have plugged in an iMX7D 1 GB, and the command doesn’t work with that.

Do you have an idea how I get it to work ?

I have included a dmesg.[link text][1]log

hi @JohnnyPaycheck

The uboot command for setting resolution for iMX7 is different, since it is a different SOC. This is the correct command:

setenv vidargs video='mxsfb:800x480M-16@60'

Please check this site for further Information about resolution and timings in Linux.

Thanks, Jaski ! That was quick - and it works

Perfect that it works. You are welcome.

I have one additional problem: The touchscreen calibration that runs at startup doesn’t remember the calibration - and it doesn’t take effect, so my touchscreen is “mirrored”: the mouse pointer moves in opposite direction as touch !

Could you ask a new question, please? Thanks.
