No matching usb device found to load Toradex Easy Installer

Hello,

I’m trying to load Toradex Easy installer but I have the message “No Matching usb device found” when I launch recovery-windows.bat.
I entered recovery mode from bootloader with commande ‘boot from usb’ and ‘reboot’. I try 2 different cables connected to USB OTG on colibri board, but the message is the same ?
Am I doing Something wrong ? Below the console output.

Could you provide software version of your module?
Did you follow these instructions to put the module in recovery mode?

The software is the last one (1.6).
I entered recovery mode by using the bootloader with the command “bootfrom usb” as said the instruction.

  • Have you issued a “reboot” comand after “bootfrom usb”?

  • What OS do you have on your development machine?

of course, I already said it in the question description.
The OS is WinCE 2013 with last software and bootloader.

I tested with the SoM iMX6S 256 1.0B IT, which works very well.

The version 1.0A is quite old. Do you have new samples of iMX6s?
If yes, could you try to boot Toradex Easy Installer on them.

I tried with v1.0A and it is working well.
Is there any USB HUB in between?

I tested with a 1.1 (new samples) too, it is not working also. I’m trying to boot Toradex Easy Installer, but I need to go to recovery mode, and when I did it with bootloader, my computer does not recognize it when I launch recovery-windows.bat.

Hello, no there is no USB HUB between.

  • Which OS you are using on your development (desktop or laptop) computer? Is it Windows 10? Or Windows 7?

Is the issue still open? Or did you find a solution?

One more thing you could check: Do you see an additional HID Device in the Device manager of your PC when you connect the iMX6 in recover mode?

I did not find solution for now unfortunately.
I’m using Windows 10. I don’t see an additionnal HID device in device manager. I can see the green light ON (near USB OTG) on the colibri board when I connect the cable to the computer but nothing else.

Could you use this version of Toradex Easy Installer and check if you still see any issue?
