No HDMI output on dahlia / DSI to HDMI adapter with verdin imx8mp

Verdin iMX8MP Q 2GB V1.0B
Dahlia Carrier Board 1.0
Verdin DSI to HDMI Adapter V1.0B
Linux BSP 5.2.0 / 5.5.0-devel

Hi Toradex Support,
yesterday I tried to setup a Verdin i.MX8MP with dahlia and the DSI-to-HDMI adapter, but I’m not able to get an output on 3 HDMI (FullHD) monitors.

The SOM came with BSP 5.2.0, I rebuilt the image, flashed with bmap-tool and tested with 5.5.0-devel (multimedia image), but no luck either.
The lt8912 dtbo is activated in /boot/overlays.txt. At first the verdin-dev dtb was loaded, I changed the board name to dahlia, but that didn’t change much.
Weston starts fine and seems to be running, so no issue on this part.
I guess something in the devicetree is not completely ok, because I get the following error messages:

Any ideas what might be going wrong here?

Thanks in advance & best regards,
Peter

Hi Peter,

Hi @peter ,

please have a look at the compatibility of verdin products page.

I sent you a private message as well.

Best Regards
Kevin

Ok, I see I have a compatibility issue here with imx8mp (2nd gen. verdin) and the older dahlia/adapter (1st gen. verdin).
Thanks @kevin.tx for the clarification!
