Network printing support in WEC2013 image?

Dear Toradex

We are using the WEC2013 image on the T30 Colibri module.
Is it somehow possible to use network printer? Are there support for this in the BSP?

We would like to print to a PDF file. So we thinking of using a network printer, that can prin to PDF files…

There are some third-party support would be available, one such is : http://www.fieldsoftware.com/PrinterCE.htm

Please be remember, WinCE6 or 7 executable is not binary compatible with WEC2013. The executable has to rebuilt for WEC2013.

I know about the PrinterCE SDK. But as you say it is not binary compatible with WEC2013

So as I understand it, pritning to a PCL printer is supported. Also over network.

But it is only possible to print what is shown on the screen (unless I write something else that generates the bitmap for printing)??

Dear @TJO,

You should get a bitmap of the current screen and that send it to the printer.
Please refer CERDisp application for reference, how to take screen bitmap reference.
If you need CERDISP, please install the trial version Windows Embedded Compact or refer to this link.
