Long boot time on a Col iMX6DL 512MB

When I power cycle my iMX6 the odd time it takes 1:17sec to reboot, but normally it reboots in 17 sec.
Has anyone seen anything like this before?

I’m running the Linux build that was supplied with the iMX6 from the web site
Linux version 4.9.166-00001-g6bd85ff

There are two “hangs” 1st one is for 30 sec. But like I said this only happens one out of every 4 power cycles. Attached are the lines from “dmesg” command

[ 3.285517] systemd[1]: System time before build time, advancing clock.
[ 33.793249] systemd[1]: systemd 234 running in system mode. (+PAM -AUDIT -SELINUX +IMA -APPARMOR +SMACK +SYSVINIT +UTMP -LIBCRYPTSETUP -GCRYPT -GNUTLS -ACL +XZ +LZ4 -SECCOMP +BLKID -ELFUTILS +KMOD -IDN2 +IDN default-hierarchy=hybrid)

2nd one is also around 30 sec.

Thanks
Let me know if any other information can be useful.

Extra information I forgot to mention for the above issue.
Using the easy installer 1.8-20181019.

Also running the iMX6 on our own custom carrier board. I don’t have access to the colibri carrier board at this time but will re run the test when I get access to it.

Could you please specify:

  • Colibri iMX6 type and HW revision (for example Colibri iMX6 DualLite 512MB IT v1.1B)
  • OS image name and version as it listed here.
  • Fool bootlog collected from debug UART (please attach it as a text file)

After a bunch of low level diving we found we had a floating wake up line. Once we found this and fixed the firmware on our carrier board, the boot time went back to 17 sec consistently.

Thanks for your help

Thank you for the update. Glad your problem is solved.
