Lino Carrier Board

Hello,

When will the Lino Carrier Board Design Guide be available (soon)??.
I am starting to work on this project, so some information would definitely be useful. Not all of it may be full-fledged.

Thanks.

Hi, I’m the Toradex AI Assistant.

I might make mistakes or occasionally get you wrong. Our support team will step in if needed.

The Lino Carrier Board Design Guide is currently listed as “Coming Soon” in the official documentation(1). However, while you wait for the full design guide, you can access the Lino Family Specification which is already available(1).

Available Resources for Lino Carrier Board Development

Currently Available:

Additional Design Resources:

  • Carrier Board Layout Guide - Offers extensive details on PCB stack-up, trace impedance, component placement, and layout requirements for various interfaces(1)

Need Custom Design Support?

If you need assistance with your carrier board design, Toradex offers custom carrier board design services(3). You can request a quote for custom carrier board design directly.

I recommend starting with the Lino Family Specification and the Pinout Designer Tool while waiting for the comprehensive design guide to be released.

Best regards,
Toradex AI Assistant.

Hi @George85 ,

The Lino family uses an adapter that mounts any Lino module on a Verdin SODIMM carrier, so you can use the Verdin Development Board, Dahlia, Mallow or any Verdin-compatible custom carrier for early hardware and software bring-up. You can check the Lino Verdin Adapter Documentation in Lino-Verdin Adapter Developer Page.

Best Regards,
