Issue with SD Card Preparation for Apalis TK1

I am also getting the issue while creating SD card bootable for Apalis TK1 and for that I ran the following command:

./update.sh -m 2 -o /media/usaername/NewVol/
and got the Error Script aborted unexpectedly... as output, like:

root@hscuser-OptiPlex-3046:~/APALISTK1-Buils/Apalis-TK1_LXDE-Image_2.7.2# ./update.sh -m 2 -o

/media/hscuser/New\ Volume1/

Script aborted unexpectedly...

I have followed http://developer.toradex.com/knowledge-base/installing-nvidia-jetpack-with-l4t-on-apalis-tk1 to install nvidia jetpack with l4t on apalis-tk1 and to test it i wanted to boot it from SD card but update script is not working.

Please suggest what to do next to boot from SD, OR anyone has done NFS boot for Apalis-TK1 then please share how to do NFS boot.

Thanks in advance

Nitesh

Our update script prepares an update media for later update from within U-Boot’s run setupdate; run update commands and can not be used for direct booting. For more information concerning alternate ways how one may boot an embedded Linux system have a look at the following article on our developer website.

What exactly went wrong with the update script in your case I’m not sure but could you post what exact contents your SD card now has e.g. doing ls -lR /media/hscuser/New\ Volume1/ or tree /media/hscuser/New\ Volume1/?

NFS booting is covered here.
