IMX8 Reboot every time

HI…

I installed QT 5.15.2 version on Apalis IMX8 eMMC memory.

Suddenly it stopped booting QT application, and reboot every time on power on.

USB also not detected on Windows PC. Therefore cannot go to recovery mode also.

Please help.

Hello @gmsirimanna ,

A quick question: Are you using the Boot2Qt commercial version? or have your Build the Qt using Openembedded layers? In case of the latter, could you please tell us which Toradex BSP you are using? or simply the output of uname -a?

Yes. I’m using QT commercial version on windows.

But I haven’t done anything to the device. From Easy installer, installed QT 5.15.2 version to the toradex imx8.

suddenly it stopped starting. Is there anything can do to start it again?

You can load Toradex Easy Installer over USB OTG as described here and then try to flash other image.
