Can somebody provide instructions how to install nodejs on a new image please.

else are there any other images having nodejs I can use for the iMX7?

yes and i tried “opkg list | grep nodejs” but returns nothing

Thanks for writing to the Toradex Support.
Regarding your question, you need to follow the instructions here. Please note that starting from Bsp 3.0 we dropped the support for the Ängstrom Distribution. You need to build a custom image and add the package nodejs to this custom image as explained here.
