I have a problem with SMB. I can’t make my Colibri to be visible on the network.

The standard MS SMB only supports SMB 1.0.
And in CE8 (WEC 2013) Microsoft removed the support for SMB Sever (this is what you want i seem to understand).
We have a solution for this. In case you are interested, we have a paid solution for adding SMB 3.0 support to your device. We have both SMB Server and Client.

Is there any other way that I could make it possible? I need to share only one file but it has to be as user friendly as possible because it would be for non technical users. FTP server would need some type of client if I understand correctly. I was able to send file with Filestream in C# but it needs IP address or device name but I could not find a way to scan for device names in the network. Have you got any ideas how could I do that? I would also like to get information about that paid solution.
