I am having problems deploying an .img to the new Colibri iMX6DL 512 MB V1.1B. I have a manufacturing script and a proprietary image that deploys and runs perfectly with the previous, V1.1A version. I don’t find any details in the revision history that points me in the right direction.
This is my configuration:
Colibri iMX6DL 512MB V1.1B
Iris Carrier Board V1.1A
Further description of the problem:
load proprietary u-boot image from an SDCard
run update_uboot
reset
The module does not boot.
NOTE: It looks like the problem has s-g to do with the new Toradex Easy Installer (TEZI) U-Boot version. When deploying and older version of the TEZI (does not have the TEZI in the uboot prompt), the script works fine.

Thank you for providing the detailed information. Just to be sure that the issue is really related to the version of the Toradex Easy Installer.
Did you try installing one of the Toradex reference images ? Does the module boot with it installed?

What’s the BSP version you use for your image?
Does the module fail to boot after applying your update?
Do you have a log of the failure?
