Huawei USB Modem on Colibri imx6

Have managed to get a ppp0 connection and can ping IP addresses. However connman does not show the cellular technology! How can I use the Modem for a QT5 application?

We do not have expertise in Qt. You might want to take a look at ofono and libqofono which are Qt bindings to ofono stack. Official ofono site is here.
