Hello,
I cannot enable RPMsg in Torizon and I get following message:
“modprobe: FATAL: Module imx_rpmsg_tty not found in directory /lib/modules/4.20.17-yocto-standard”
It seems has no built-in driver. How can I install it?
Thanks in advance!

Greetings @eduegs,
The imx_rpmsg_tty
driver was never upstreamed into the mainline Linux kernel which Torizon uses. We plan to in the future provides patches that add this functionality back into Torizon. Though as of the moment there is no definite timeline for when this may happen.
If I may, may I ask what kind of project/purpose you plan to use both Torizon and RPMsg?

Hello Jeremias,
I’m contacting Toradex Brazil to find another solution to my issue. If I find it, I’ll put solution here to help another users.
Thank you very much!
HI @eduegs
We have integrated the RpMsg driver in the downstream Kernel 4.14. I think you can use the rpmsg_char
driver instead of imx_rpmsg_tty
.
Best regards,
