We use
Amazon.com: ONTEN VGA to HDMI, 1080P Adapter (Male to Female) for Computer, Desktop, Laptop, PC, Monitor, Projector, HDTV with Audio Cable and USB Cable (1 Pcs) : Electronics

The picture created on the TV is adjusted manually by the remote in the purpose to fit the image to the whole screen. Not very nice, but it is what it is.
