The Apalis TK1 datasheet states that “(T)the MCU (NXP Kinetics K20) extends the module with two Controller Area Network (CAN) interfaces, several ADC, additional GPIOs and several other low-speed interfaces. Since the controller is independent of the Tegra K1, it can be used for hard real time and security
critical tasks.”
- Is the MCU used in the Apalis Linux BSP v2.7b+ used for other functionalities as well?
- Or can one disable the driver for the MCU by blacklisting it by adding
blacklist apalis-tk1-k20
in/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
without worries to impact some image default functionality then?
