GUI with Linux on Apalis iMX6 processor

First of all, thank you so much. I succeeded in building the linux image on the module and could able to get the output for the applications on the module. My application is to run a video on the module. This has been done.
Now my next step is to develop GUI on the module along with the previous application. How could i proceed. Please give a suitable solution.
