EMC/Shock and vibration between Apalis IMX6 modules

Hi,

We currently use the Apalis iMX6 Dual 1GB IT 1.1B revision in our product for rail industry.

Due to supply issues we can only source Apalis iMX6 Dual 1GB IT 1.1Y revision which has an update PHY, no touch screen controller and different eMMC chip.

By switching modules to the 1.1Y revision, would Toradex recommend that EMC/Shock and vibration be retested between the 1.1B and 1.1Y? Or can this just be treated as a direct replacement.

we did not retest the vibration part since the packages of the chip are the same standard.
For EMC we can not exclude that there could be some change. But we have not seen a feedback from the field on that.
