The best practice here is to create your own Yocto layer for your board. We have this article on our website documenting this. After creating your own layer, you can copy the tdx-reference-multimedia-image.bb recipe (the original is on oe-core/layers/meta-toradex-demos/recipes-images/images/tdx-reference-multimedia-image.bb) and change it according to your needs (e.g. renaming it and customizing its contents).
