Configuration FORCE_OFF_GPIO pin in linux kernel on Apalis Imx6

Hello. I had such a question. How can I switch the FORCE_OFF function from the GPIO5 pin to the GPIO6 pin in linux kernel? Is’ it possible?

Are you talking about this?

Confusingly you mention Apalis T30 AND Apalis iMX6. The answer to the question will likely be quite different depending on what module you actually target.

Yes it is. But I could not find in the source code of the kernel where this macro is configured link text . I use Apalis iMX6Q 2GB IT V1.1C

Please read the article @max.tx mentioned above again carefully. Only older kernels with platform data use a macro while all later kernels make use of the device tree for such configuration. Unfortunately, you missed mentioning what exact hardware and software versions of things you are talking about.

Hardware version - Apalis iMX6Q 2GB IT V1.1C

Kernel version - 4.1-2.0.x-2.7.2-apalis-imx6-20170628212005

I don’t understand how to use the device tree to configure this pin

Please have a look here.
