Colibri imx6ull pin 102 and 104 functionality

Hi Team,
I’m using Colibri iMX6ULL part, My query is in this part pin 102 and 104 is not having default Colibri function and in note it is mentioned as No standard function for these two pins, but these two pins are available in pinout designer, will these two pins can be used to allocate any functions. ( Pin 102 is having JTAG_TRST_B and Pin 104 is having ENET1_RXER iMX6ULL Ball name).
could you please give clarity on this.


The term ‘default Colibri function’ implies that any Colibri module type (such as Colibri iMX6, Colibri iMX8X, etc.) shares the same interface on the ‘standard function’ pins. Thus, if your carrier board design exclusively utilizes these default Colibri interfaces, the board should be compatible with any module from the Colibri family.

On the other hand, many pins offer the flexibility to be configured for alternative functions. While you are free to utilize these configurations, doing so may compromise compatibility. A comprehensive list of potential alternative functions for each pin is available in the Colibri iMX8X datasheet, specifically in Section 4.4.1 'SODIMM.

You can also utilize the mentioned pinout designer tool. Please note that “non-standard” interfaces are not activated in the images provided by Toradex. Therefore, you will need to modify the Device Tree appropriately to enable correct pin multiplexing (pinmuxing) and configure the related drivers.
