Building the full Qt toolchain using Bitbake Fails

Hello Sir/Madam,

I want to build the HMI using Qt for Apalis Evaluation Test Board V1.1A , SoM: Apalis iMX6 Quad 2GB. I am following the link as mentioned below:

  1. Getting Started with Qt
  2. Qt Creator to cross compile - Embedded Linux

Build the SDK for development

[build] $ bitbake -k meta-toolchain-qt5

During the building process I get an error each time and even the Ubuntu is completely hanged and need to restart always

ERROR: Task (/home/user/oe-core/build/…/layers/meta-qt5/recipes-qt/qt5/qtquickcontrols2_git.bb:do_compile) failed with exit code '1’

I even followed the “Failing Build” Section but of no help.

Request your help for the same

Thanks and Regards,
Amar V

I am not sure on check out of the branch I have performed until now
Thanking you in anticipation

I am successful with this command :
bitbake -k console-tdx-image
And also have built the SDK
bitbake console-tdx-image -c populate_sdk

Perfect that it works. Thanks for the feedback.
