Analogue Camera Adapter detect by angstrom image but doesnt detect by Reference Multimedia Image.

Could you please give some more information about your setup?

  1. Which exact Apalis IMX6 version?
  2. What carrier board is being used?
  3. Which exact version of the Reference Multimedia Image?
  4. Can you get any reference from dmesg about any of the following strings: adv , adv7280 , max , max9526 ?

  1. apalis imx6q V1.1C
  2. ixora V1.2A
  3. Reference Multimedia Image installed from toradex easy installer
  4. when i enter " dmesg | grep adv" in terminal, i didnt get any output but the “adv7280_tvin.ko” driver is also exist in /lib/modules/4.1.44-2.7.4+gb1555bf/kernel/drivers/media/platform/mxc/capture/adv7280_tvin.ko.

with lxde linux version work but with Reference Multimedia Image dosnt work.

What version of Reference Multimedia Image did you install?

And, also, there is this strange folder 4.1.44-2.7.4+gb1555bf inside your /lib/modules that isn’t present on recent Reference Multimedia Images.

After installing Reference Multimedia Image 5.3.0, you can see in the image below that there is no folder inside /lib/modules that starts with 4.1.44
