Adding SNMP using TorizonCore Builder

Hi there.

I’m new to TorizonCore Builder and I want to build my TorizonOS image with the SNMP daemon installed, as well as a few other services. I am building the tcbuild.yaml file, with the following structure:

input:
    easy-installer:
      local: images/torizon-core-docker-verdin-imx8mp-Tezi_5.7.0+build.17.tar
customization:
    splash-screen: media/splash.png
    device-tree:
        overlays:
            add:
                - device-tree/enable-backlight.dts
  filesystem:
      - change/
output:
    easy-installer:
        local: images/my-custom-image
        name: "My customized image V1.0"
    bundle:
        compose-file: application/docker-compose.yml

How can I add this type of application with Torizon Core Builder?

Settings:
Colibri iMX6DL 512MB V1.1A
Iris Carrier Board V1.1A
Base image: Torizon 6.5.0 (Kirkstone)

Hello @jonathansilva ,

When utilizing the TorizonCore Builder, SNMP can only be installed within a container using the bundle command. For additional details, please refer to the documentation here.

If you prefer not to install SNMP within a container, an alternative is to rebuild the Torizon OS using Yocto and then include the desired packages. For guidance on this approach, please consult this article.
